SnowitFlex is the new pay-per-use subscription that allows you to ski as much and as often as you want at all participating ski areas, at an activation price of €12 per year.
How does the charge work?
When you first pass through the turnstile, the system will make a precharge of the maximum possible value for that day (usually the Adult Day Pass of the resort where you are skiing). No amount will be paid at this stage by the user, the predebit is only to verify the presence of the necessary credit on the payment method.
In case you continue skiing the next day as well, the system will update the pre-debit amount, without actual payment from the user. This procedure will be re-performed when necessary, until you finish consecutive days of skiing.
The system collects each pass at the turnstile, to ensure an exact count of hours skied, without errors.
On the first day after the last pass made (i.e., the first day you do not ski), the system will make the actual charge, based on the actual hours skied concurrently at the rates set by the resort where you skied.
What rates are charged?
Let's look at some examples of charges, using Aprica as the chosen location:
1) Skiing 3h and 21min -> 4 Hour ski pass charge.
2) Skiing of 1 full day and 2h and 10min on the second day -> Daily ski pass charge + 3 Hours
3) Skiing of 4 consecutive days -> 4 Days Ski Pass Charge.
As you can see from the examples, the system considers the hours skied (rounded up) and charges the best combination of ski passes in the resort's rates accordingly.
