With SnowitPass, you can choose to add ski insurance to your days on the slopes.
Insurance is optional and can be activated or deactivated directly from your subscription settings.
If you do not activate insurance through SnowitPass, make sure you have your own personal insurance policy, as having insurance coverage is required by law.
How do I activate the insurance?
You can activate the insurance when purchasing SnowitPass or later from your personal account.
Go to the SnowitPass Subscriptions section, select Details, and open the Insurance section.
Make sure the insurance is active before you pass through the turnstiles for the first time.
How much does it cost?
SnowitPass insurance costs €3.50 per ski day.
The cost is added to the ski pass rate calculated by the system.
When is it charged?
If the insurance is active, the pre-authorisation made when you first pass through the turnstiles will also include the cost of the insurance.
The actual insurance charge is processed together with the charge for your ski day.
The insurance is charged only once for each day you use SnowitPass, regardless of how many times you pass through the turnstiles.
How can I change my choice?
You can activate or deactivate the insurance during the season from:
SnowitPass Subscriptions → Details → Insurance
You can make a maximum of one change per day.
The new setting will apply to your subsequent ski days. To avoid any issues, always check your selected option before accessing the ski lifts.
⚠️ Important
If the insurance is active when you first pass through the turnstiles, its cost will be included in the charge for that ski day.
You cannot change the insurance status while a ski session is in progress.
How does the seasonal insurance threshold work?
After skiing 10 days with the insurance active, you automatically reach the seasonal threshold.
From your 11th ski day onwards, you will no longer pay the daily €3.50 fee and will continue to benefit from insurance coverage until the end of the season.
The threshold is personal and is calculated separately for each SnowitPass subscription.
Where can I check my progress?
You can check how many insured ski days you have already accumulated from your personal account.
Go to: SnowitPass Subscriptions → Details → Insurance
In the same section, you can check the insurance status and your progress towards reaching the seasonal threshold.
The amounts charged for both the ski pass and the insurance can also be viewed in the details of your ski sessions and payments.
