Spending thresholds allow you to accumulate the amounts spent on ski days with SnowitPass throughout the season.
Once you reach the applicable threshold, you automatically receive a benefit on subsequent ski days at the resorts included in that threshold.
| Threshold | Included resorts | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Resort threshold | Bormio, Livigno or Ponte di Legno-Tonale | Ski at no additional cost at that resort |
| Madonna di Campiglio | Skiarea Campiglio | 80% discount on subsequent ski days* |
| Alta Valtellina | Bormio and Livigno area | Ski at no additional cost throughout the area |
| Lombardy Region | Participating resorts in Lombardy | Ski at no additional cost at the included resorts |
What are spending thresholds?
Every time you ski with SnowitPass, the amount charged for your ski day automatically contributes towards the applicable thresholds for the resorts you use.
You do not need to activate the tracking manually. Once you reach the required threshold, the relevant benefit is automatically applied to subsequent ski days.
Thresholds may vary depending on the type of threshold and the user’s age category.
Resort thresholds
Resort thresholds are available for:
- Bormio, including Santa Caterina Valfurva, Oga, Cima Piazzi and San Colombano;
- Livigno;
- Ponte di Legno-Tonale.
By skiing multiple times at the same resort, you accumulate the amounts needed to reach the relevant threshold.
Once you reach the threshold for your category, you can continue skiing at no additional cost at that resort for the rest of the season.
Not all SnowitPass resorts have a spending threshold. Always check the SnowitPass page to see which thresholds are available.
Madonna di Campiglio resort threshold
The Skiarea Campiglio threshold includes:
- Madonna di Campiglio;
- Pinzolo;
- Folgarida-Marilleva.
The applicable thresholds are:
| Category | Threshold |
|---|---|
| Adults | €830 |
| Juniors, born from 2008 to 2017 | €415 |
| Children, born from 2018 onwards | €250 |
| Accompanied children, born from 2018 onwards | No threshold when skiing with a parent |
Once you reach the threshold for your category, an 80% discount is automatically applied to subsequent ski days. You will therefore pay only 20% of the applicable SnowitPass rate.
*If you reach the threshold during several consecutive ski days, the discount will apply starting from the first day of a new, non-consecutive ski session.
Alta Valtellina threshold
The Alta Valtellina threshold includes:
- Livigno;
- Bormio;
- Santa Caterina Valfurva;
- Oga;
- Cima Piazzi;
- San Colombano.
Amounts spent at these resorts automatically contribute towards the Alta Valtellina threshold.
Thresholds vary according to the user category:
| Category | Threshold |
|---|---|
| Adult | €1,030 |
| Senior | €890 |
| Youth | €890 |
| Junior | €570 |
| Baby | €240 |
Once the threshold is reached, you can continue skiing at no additional cost at all resorts included in the threshold for the rest of the season.
Ski days in the Bormio area can contribute at the same time towards the Bormio resort threshold, the Alta Valtellina threshold, and the Lombardy Region threshold.
Lombardy Region threshold
Amounts spent on ski days at participating resorts in Lombardy contribute towards the regional threshold.
The Lombardy Region threshold is €1,190 and is the same for all age categories.
Once you reach it, you can continue skiing at no additional cost at the participating Lombardy resorts included in the threshold for the rest of the season.
Even after reaching a resort threshold, you can continue accumulating the amounts spent at other non-Lombardy resorts towards their respective resort thresholds.
Where can I check my progress towards a threshold?
You can check your progress towards each threshold from your personal account.
Go to:
SnowitPass Subscriptions → Details → Spending thresholds
You will find a progress tracker for each threshold you are contributing towards, showing the amount already accumulated and how much remains before reaching the threshold.
