My SnowitCard does not work at the turnstile
If the SnowitCard is detected but the turnstile does not open (the turnstile shows a red light and emits a sound), check the SnowitPass Subscriptions section and make sure that:
- SnowitPass is active;
- the SnowitCard is linked to the correct subscription;
- at least 15–20 minutes have passed since linking the card;
- the payment method is valid;
- there are no errors related to the pre-authorisation.
If you see a payment error message in your personal account, follow the instructions displayed to retry the payment.
SnowitPass is not active
If you have purchased SnowitPass but the subscription is not yet active, first check that you have linked a SnowitCard.
Go to the SnowitPass Subscriptions section, find the subscription and make sure that both the SnowitCard number and the user's name are displayed.
After completing the linking process, wait approximately 15–20 minutes before accessing the turnstiles.
Also make sure that the linked payment method is valid and has sufficient funds available.
I cannot link my SnowitCard
Check that there is no traditional ski pass still valid or with a future usage date already loaded onto the SnowitCard.
⚠️ Important
SnowitPass and a traditional ski pass cannot be loaded onto the same SnowitCard at the same time.
If a ski pass is already loaded onto the card, you will need to wait until it expires or link SnowitPass to another SnowitCard.
Also make sure that you have entered the following information correctly:
- the SnowitCard number;
- the user's first and last name;
- the user's date of birth.
The pre-authorisation failed
The pre-authorisation may fail if the payment method:
- does not have sufficient funds available;
- has expired;
- has been blocked;
- has reached its monthly spending limit;
- does not support the required transaction.
Make the necessary changes to your payment method, go to your subscription details and select Retry.
Before retrying, make sure that sufficient funds are available on the card or select a different payment method.
You will not be able to access the ski lifts until the pre-authorisation has been successfully completed.
My payment method is not working
SnowitPass can be purchased and used with a credit or debit card.
If you see the message “Payment method not supported”, try using a different card.
You can check or change the linked payment method by following this path:
SnowitPass Subscriptions → Details → Manage subscription → Payment method
Before going skiing, always make sure that the card:
- has not expired;
- is enabled for online payments;
- has sufficient funds available for the pre-authorisation.
I changed my payment method but I still see an error
Simply changing the payment method may not be enough to resolve a transaction that has already failed.
After selecting or adding a new card, return to the error message and select Retry to process the pre-authorisation again.
If the error persists:
- make sure the new card has sufficient funds available;
- check that it has not expired or been blocked;
- if possible, try another credit or debit card;
- contact Snowit Support if the problem persists.
The turnstile does not read my SnowitCard
If the turnstile does not detect the SnowitCard and does not display an error related to the subscription, it may be a temporary issue.
Wait a few minutes and try another turnstile.
If the card is still not detected, go to the SnowitPass Subscriptions section and check that the linked card number matches the number printed on the SnowitCard you are using.
If the details are correct, contact Support.
When should I contact Support?

- the SnowitCard is not detected by multiple turnstiles;
- you linked the wrong SnowitCard;
- you have lost your SnowitCard;
