There are multiple factors that can prevent the turnstile from reading the card correctly. This article covers the most common cases in which the card does not work at the turnstile.
In this case, you have purchased a SnowitPass subscription but have not yet linked it to your Snowitcard. Go to a pick-up point to get your card, or use one you already have.
You cannot load SnowitPass onto a SnowitCard that already has an unused prepaid ski pass.
Then, click the blue button and enter the user’s first name, last name, date of birth, and card number.
2. Payment method issues
These messages will appear in case of a problem with the pre-authorization on your payment method.
In such cases, it may not be possible to access the turnstiles until the operation is successfully completed.
By clicking the yellow button, you can choose to:
Retry the operation on the default payment method
Make sure there are sufficient funds and that the payment method has not expired. Reload funds if necessary and click “Retry.”
Change the payment method for the operation
From the dropdown menu, select or add a new payment method and click “Retry.”
3. Technical issues
This type of message is the least common and requires special attention from customer support. You will need to open a ticket by clicking the red “Support” button or by writing to help@snowit.ski.
There are many factors that can prevent the Keycard from being read at the turnstile. Below are some of the most common cases:

The Snowitcard has not been linked to any subscription.
Check your account in the SnowitPass Subscriptions section to ensure the card is correctly associated with a subscription. -
Your subscription encountered errors during payment/pre-authorization.
In this case, you will receive an SMS and/or email prompting you to retry the payment, either by changing or confirming the card linked to your subscription. -
The turnstile may have a temporary malfunction, preventing the card from being read.
In this case, wait a few minutes and/or try another turnstile.
